Hi, I’m Evelyn Ward—a Product Line Marketer at Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, where I operate at the intersection of Marketing, Operations, and Analytics. I thrive in the space where data meets design, where innovation requires empathy, and where results are just as important as the stories behind them. In my first year, I was honored with two Marketing Excellence Awards, including one for my work on the transformative Direct-to-Chip Liquid Cooling project.
I’m a proud MBA graduate of Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management, where I made history as the first Black female President of the Owen Student Government Association. My leadership style blends boldness with care and structure with vision—earning me the 2024 H. Igor Ansoff Award for creative contributions to the school. I also helped lead my team to a second-place finish at the 2023 National Black MBA Association Case Competition, and in 2022, I was honored as Best Presenter—a moment that affirmed not just my voice, but the power of owning my space fully.
Before business school, I managed a $1.4M+ territory as an Account Manager and began my career as a Food Microbiologist—grounding me in scientific rigor, quality assurance, and a love for complex problem-solving. Today, I bring those roots into my work with modern marketing strategy, AI-enabled tools, and design thinking, creating solutions that are as thoughtful as they are innovative.
Outside of the office, I lead with intention and service through Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, where I’ve held multiple leadership roles and continue to contribute to causes centered on equity, sisterhood, and community impact.
This portfolio reflects the duality I carry with pride: I am strategic and creative. Scientific and soulful. Analytical and artistic. I don’t fit into a single bucket—and that’s my strength. I create from the in-between spaces, where real transformation lives.
