Designing Excellence, Leading Change: Where Business Strategy Meets Creative Ingenuity
I’m Evelyn Ward, a versatile professional with a passion for design and a dynamic background in business. As a proud graduate of Vanderbilt Business (Owen Graduate School of Management), my journey has been marked by a commitment to positive change and leadership.
As the first Black female President of the Owen Student Government Association, I led initiatives that shaped the program’s trajectory and secured significant achievements. During my time at Vanderbilt, I also reached the finals and secured second place in the 2022 and 2023 Graduate Case Competition for the National Black MBA Association, marking the first time in 20 years that our school placed in the competition.
Currently, I work as a Product Line Marketing Assistant Manager for Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, where I apply my expertise in marketing and analytics to drive business growth and innovation.
Prior to my MBA journey, I made impactful strides as an Account Manager at Ecolab, Inc., managing a $1.4M+ territory and holding diverse leadership roles. My early career as a Food Microbiologist equipped me with a strong foundation in science and quality assurance.
In the design realm, I bring a fresh perspective shaped by experiences in marketing and analytics. Beyond that, I’ve played pivotal roles in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, contributing to innovation, community, and sisterhood.
